Sharon Lucille Anderson

Sharon Lucille Anderson, 77, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. Born November 5, 1938 in Brodhead, WI. Daughter of Merle and Loreen (Kitchen) Nelson. Married Ernest Leon Anderson and together they raised four children. He predeceased her in 1997. She then joined her life with Virgil Hubbard who became like a Step-father to her children. While her kids were growing up, she would pack her kids and their friends in the Station Wagon and go to the park every Sunday. She taught her kids how to survive. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was the kind of woman that would anything and everything to help someone in need. She was the kind of person that was willing to give her last dollar to help even if it was to a stranger. If you knew her you were a friend. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She was the “Star in the Sky”.

Survived by children, Gerald Anderson, Sherry Sherwood, Terry Anderson, Larry (Kim) Anderson; grandchildren, Melissa Sherwood, Jesseca Anderson, Julia Anderson; Great- Grandson, Myles Durham; siblings, Bruce (Rose) Nelson, Geraldine Klatts; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special nieces, Kathy, Chris and great-niece, Heather. Very special Thanks to Terry “Bubba” Woods and Lance Beyer for being there and caring for our Mom. Predeceased by parents; spouse; sisters, Linda, Norma and Wilma.
