Twylah Mae Ricketts, 86, went home to be with her heavenly Father and reunite with her husband, Harold on Saturday, April 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 5, 1932 in Dodgeville, WI. to Raymond and Augusta (Reger) LaFlash. In 1950 she graduated from Platville High School. Twylah and her sister, Betty, moved to Rockford looking for work. Twylah secured a job with Haties Heaters and also a husband. Harold was a welder with the company. The two fell in love immediately and were married in 1953. They had two daughters. They moved to Indiana for a short time and found themselves back in Rockford to build their life. Twylah will be remembered for her gardening skills, her love of county fair season, her talents with plastic canvas and the love she offered to all her family.
Survivors: daughters, Elizabeth “Libby” Early, Crystal “Chris” Huber; grandchildren, Hayley (Rex) Worley, Natasha "Tasha" (Scott Buchanan) Early, Nathan Huber; great-grandchildren, Austin, Kolton, Jace, Bryce Worley, Emmagyn Buchanan; siblings, Angeline Kowalski, Betty Ender, Dwayne LaFlash, Sherry (Ray) Whiting, Sheldon (Jeannie) LaFlash, Patricia (Henry) Edl. Predeceased by parents; loving husband; son in law, Brian Huber.
