Wayne was born on March 26, 1925 in Rockford, IL the son of Wesley and Edna (Burch) Newman. Wayne farmed all his life in the Centerville road area then to Orangeville, when Wayne retired he moved to Davis, IL. Wayne was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Holstein Friesian Cattle Association.
Wayne is survived by his siblings: Ruth (George) Moate, Janice Seyler, Paul (Dawn) Newman and Lois (Dewey) Heslop; numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Bernice Keller, Alice Haughton and Mary Pals; brothers Robert, John and David Newman; numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Wayne’s life will be 3:00 pm Friday January 27, 2017 at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 W. State Street in Rockford with a visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Willwood Cemetery.
