William L. Chamberlain

William L. Chamberlain, 90, of Freeport, IL passed away Sunday January 10, 2021 in his residence with family by his side. William was born on April 10, 1930 in Fort Atkinson, WI, the son of Earl and Florence (Laatsch) Chamberlain. William married Madeline Ball in 1954 and she preceded him in death in 2004 after 50 years of marriage. William was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and formerly a member of the American Legion. William enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors.

William is survived by his son: Mark Chamberlain of Freeport; daughters: Debra (Jim) Hudson of North Carolina and Sharon Chamberlain of Rockford; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister: JoAnne Chamberlain of FL. William was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Florence, wife Madeline and sister Patricia Cunningham.

Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at a later date. Advantage Funeral and Cremation is assisting the family with arrangements.
