William H. Collier, age 77, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023. He was born December 17, 1945 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Charles and Marion (Sands) Collier. William married Linda (Ludeman) Collier on December 24, 1994. He worked as a State Police Master Sergeant 25 years before retiring. He and Linda traveled all across the United States for 17 years on RV trips.
William is loved and missed by his wife, Linda Collier; children, William (Jill) Collier and Julie (Dan) Domberg; stepson, Adam Trudo; grandchildren, Jack and Gabrielle Collier, Zachary, Lucas, and Sophia Domberg, Claire Otto, and Mia Trudo; siblings, Steve Collier and Carolyn (Randy) Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marion Collier; stepson, Ryan Trudo; and siblings, Charles, Jack, and Thomas Collier, and Mary Ellen Dunn.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
