He was born in Rumford, Maine on October 20, 1919 a son of John and Mary (Ciburkuite) Zale.
Albert was educated in Rumford schools.
He proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corp during WWII, achieving the rank of CPL.
Albert was employed for almost 40 years with the Boise Cascade Paper Mill.
He was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.
Albert was a member of the American Legion, the VFW, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing beano in his later years, and spending time with his beloved beagle “Bandit.”
Surviving are two sons, Albert M. Zale, Jr. of Roxbury, and Arthur J. Duguay of Scarborough; two grandchildren, Arthur Duguay and Laura M. Hebert; and three nephews, Eric Zale of Albany, ME, Richard Zale of Livermore, and Steve Zale of Rumford.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Jeannette, and a stepson Peter Duguay.
