He was born in Rumford, Maine on December 28, 1956 a son of James E. and Sandra (Perry) Gallant.
Brad was educated in Mexico and Kennebunkport schools and was a graduate of Hampden Academy in Hampden, ME Class of 1975.
He was employed as a boiler maker with Local 29.
Brad was a member of the Hog Association and was an avid Harley Davidson bike rider.
He loved nature, feeding the deer at his house; his dogs Chopper, Timber, Max and Bella; but he didn’t really care much for Kathy’s chickens but secretly fed them anyway.
Brad also loved building and racing slot cars.
He was a member of the River Valley Sportsman Club.
Surviving are his wife Katherine Gallant of Rumford; his mother, Sandra Perry Farrar and husband Gerald of Sumner; mother and father in law, Stan and Louise Horne of Rumford; six children, Heather Gallant of PA, J. Matthew Gallant and wife Amanda of Snowflake, AZ, Joseph Gallant and companion Jocelyn of Rhode Island, Tiffany Gallant of Harpswell, ME, Eric Gamez of Rumford and Nichole Couch of Portland; four sisters, Suzan Howard of Fort Worth, TX, Cindy Gallant of New Gloucester, ME, and twins, Josephine Poulin and husband Brian of Turner, and Judy Payne and husband Dan of South Paris, ME; two grandchildren, Tyler Crawford and Bryce Brickell; and step sisters and step brothers, Darren Farrar and wife Vicki of Green, ME, Mitchell Farrar and wife Pam of Melbourne, FL, Christopher Farrar and wife Josee of Norway, ME and Melissa Foss and husband Bill of Windham.
He was predeceased by his father James E. Gallant and a brother in law Richard Howard.
