He was born in Rumford Maine on May 25, 1931 a son of Aneas J. and Josephine M. (Dumphey) McKellick.
Larry attended St. Athanasius School.
He was employed as a Truck Driver for 29 years with Axton-Cross.
Larry was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.
He enjoyed playing shuffleboard and traveling.
Larry was a Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for being with people.
Surviving are his sons, Lawrence A. McKellick, Jr. of Franklin, MA, Gary J. McKellick and wife Claudia of Pascog, RI, and Randy A. McKellick and wife Cheryl of Woonsocket, RI; daughters, Barbara Gurganus and husband Tony of Spring Hope, NC, Brenda LaMoore of Spring Hope, NC, and Allison McKellick of Worcester, MA; 16 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife of 62 years Anita; daughter in law June McKellick, 7 sisters, Evelyn Dora, Grace Clinton, Florence Coughlin, Margaret Gilks, Barbara Hebert, Rose Bither an Theresa Ephlin; 5 brothers, Alfred, Joseph, Roy, John and Robert McKellick..
A service will be held in the spring with a time to be announced.
