She was born in Jay, Maine, a daughter of Henry and Rosa (Brochu) Roy
Yvette was a graduate of Stephen’s High School, class of 1949.
She married Leon Poirier on August 24, 1957. Together, they celebrated 59 years of marriage. He passed away on October 15, 2016.
Yvette was employed at J.J. Newberry’s for 20 years.
She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.
Yvette enjoyed sewing.
Surviving is her son Mark Poirier and wife Amy of Washington State, and two grandchildren.
Yvette was predeceased by her parents and her husband Leon.
