I was so sorry to hear about Betty Ann’s passing. She was a dear friend. I met her when I started my job at St. Louis State Hospital now called St.Louis Forensic Treatment Center 34 years ago. We both worked in the Activity Therapy Department but on different units. She was an OT and I a Recreational Therapist. In later years we worked on the same unit for a time and shared an office. We shared a lot of conversations and I have many special memories of those times. After she retired she and I tried to get together monthly for dinner with 3 other co-workers. My daughters called “big girls night out”. She and l also met monthly for many years or dinner at Stake n Shake which my girls called “little girls night out”. These were wonderful times and I will treasure the memory. She was very special to me. I know how much she loved her family, being an OT, traveling, opera, the League, the book club, etc. She had a sense of humor and enjoyed her beer when we went out. I’m glad I was able to attend the funeral service, celebrate her life, and meet all of you who she loved dearly.

Jerry, Holle, Kevin, Sarah, and Brett and Maggie, Ross, Lauren, Ryan, Reid, Alannah, Evelyn, and Ilsa. It was nice to meet you even though the circumstances were sad. I will keep you in my prayers and I know God will give you strength, comfort, and peace.

Love,
Kay Mozley

Jerry -
I am sorry to hear about your mom. I always enjoyed seeing her at the Y and at the Regal ladies lunches. She was a cool lady.

I remember Betty from the LWV and The Hampton Midtown Kiwanis CLUB. Webster Theater was our favorite Fall Activity and having dinner at Chris Diner on the Hill. We planned to travel to the Bahamas.
