

Betty was born February 10, 1939 to Thomas and Minnie (Mayher) Weatherley near Carlisle, Arkansas. She was raised in Snake Island, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Kenneth N. Stirnaman, on April 21, 1960. They lived in several places in St. Louis until moving on Oleatha Street where they made their life-long home.
Betty never met a stranger and loved telling others about Jesus. She always strived to share the love of God with everyone. Betty loved life, loved to laugh but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Stirnaman, parents, Minnie and Thomas Weatherley, sister, Wanda Lou Yarbrough, and brothers, Pete, Jack, Frank, and Tommy Weatherley.
Survivors include her sister, Patsy Morris; son, Lelon (Camille) Lovins and his boys Quentin and Justin, several great grandchildren; and, daughter, Kristi Stirnaman (Danny Jenkins) Johnson and her two boys, Garrett and Brett who loved her dearly.
She was a caring mom, grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt, cousin and friend. She loved and cherished her family and friends and gave all that she had even in death.
Kenneth N. Stirnaman, 82, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away at his home on September 16, 2020.
Ken was born on August 14, 1938 to Eugene and Elizabeth (Albertson) Stirnaman and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
On April 21, 1960, Ken married the love of his life, Betty, and they had one child, Kristi, together. He was a United States Army veteran who proudly served his country as a military police officer. Ken had retired from Ameren as a pipefitter after many years of dedicated service. Ken loved spending time with his family, especially fishing with his grandsons, Garrett and Brett.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Gene (Norma) Stirnaman, and sister Rita (John) Marica. His beloved wife, Betty, of 60 years joined him in heaven on October 28, 2021.
Survivors include his brother, Russ (Ginny) Stirnaman, daughter, Kristi Stirnaman (Danny Jenkins) Johnson, grandsons, Garrett and Brett Johnson.
Ken was dearly loved by everyone and gave everything that he could even in death. Last but certainly not least, he was truly an example of a Christian man who provided glimpses of what God's love looks like for all who knew him and will always be a hero in his daughter's eyes.
SERVICES: A Joint Celebration of Life will be held 2pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary. The family invites you to remain to share memories afterward.
