My and Jess's thoughts and prayers are with Dan, Moose, Laura, all the grandkids, family, and friends. Uncle Frank took me to the first Cardinal game I remember going to, and I have fond memories of playing "swinging statues" at the Gilson house while raking leaves with Laura and my brother, John. I am heartened by the fact that he's now reunited in heaven with my Aunt Jeanne.

My sincere condolences to Dan, Kevin and Laura. I’m saddened by the loss of my Uncle. What I remember most is his sense of humor, his face lit up when he thought something was funny, and his love for music and movies. I know his kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed. Sending love to Dan, Kevin and Laura.
May he Rest In Peace!

A sweet brother ! He was a talented writer and I remembered his ability as a child to gather stories from the neighbors who shared much with this cute kid! I always thought he might be a writer! And as an adult he did write many wonderful articles for the South Side Journal! In his real job , he worked for dad at Jones Music and Appliance! He eventually becoming the sole owner.
