Beloved husband of Julia Bowman. Loving father of Wallace (Gloria) Bowman and Phyllis (Michael) Lowry. Proud grandfather of five and great grandfather of five. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
John was a proud World War II Veteran. He belonged to the Meridian Masonic Lodge #2, was a Scottish Rite 33rd Degree Mason and a member of Moolah Shrine Temple. John was also a member of Union United Methodist Church.
Visitation: Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 4pm until 8pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa and Watson, with a Masonic service at 7pm. The funeral will be conducted Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11am in the funeral home chapel. The interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
