Obituary of Fr. John David Corrigan S.J.

Father J. David Corrigan, S.J. was called to eternal life on Tuesday, March 5, 2018, at the Fusz Pavilion in St. Louis, MO, He was 83 years old, a Jesuit for 65 years and a priest for 52 years.

Born in Springfield, IL, on November 1, 1934, he attended St. Gabriel the Archangel grade school St. Louis and St. Louis University High School; St. Louis University earning a B.A. Philosophy(1958), University of Notre Dame earning a Masters of Theology (1967). He entered the Society of Jesus, August 17, 1952 and was ordained on June 6, 1965.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John James Corrigan and Bernadine Corrigan (nee Gorey). He is survived by his siblings Michael A Corrigan and Sr. Judith Ann Corrigan SSND.

Visitation Monday March 12, 2018 4:00 P.M. with Mass of Christian burial at 7:15 P.M., St. Francis Xavier Church 3628 Lindell Blvd. St. Louis, MO. Interment at Calvary Cemetery Tuesday March 13, 2018 9:00 A.M. Memorial donation may be made to the Jesuits of the Central and Southern Province 4511 West Pine Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108.
