Arlie James “AJ” Hammond, Jr., 42, of Parsonsburg passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at TidalHealth in Salisbury. Born August 31, 1980 he was the son of Arlie and Barbara Hammond.

AJ was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He was a loving husband, father, son and best friend who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Hammond; three daughters, Savannah, Natalie Smith, and Riley Hammond; son, Coner Smith; one grandson; aunts and uncles, Gail, Linda, Cheryl, Kenny, Boyd, Cindy, Marlene, Beth; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Cody James Hammond and an Uncle Galen Hammond.

A Celebration of Life will held in the Spring.
