Dennis Wayne Mumford

Dennis Wayne Mumford, 63, of Pittsville passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at his home. Born August 6, 1960 he was the son of the late Walter Thomas Mumford and Pearl Cunningham. Dennis graduated from WiHi in 1978 and join the United States Army where he was station in Ft. Campbell, KY. He later was deployed to Saudi Arabia and served in the Gulf War. He retired from West Enterprises where he worked for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his brother, Ronald Mumford and his wife Wilma; a half-brother, David Dean Dennis; and two nieces, Nicole Mumford and Michelle Bennett. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Jack Cunningham.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11am at Jerusalem Cemetery in Parsonsburg.
