Edgar Lee Colonna, 93, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Wicomico Nursing Home. Mr. Colonna joined the Army in 1952 during the Korean War and later served in the United States Navy until he retired in 1982. He was awarded the Bronze Star of Valor. He worked in Maintenance for UMES and Deer’s Head Hospital. He was always fixing something.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Colonna and Barry Colonna. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Georgia Colonna in 2020.
A service with Military Honors will be held Thursday at 11am in the chapel at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore in Hurlock.
