John “Jack” Stuart Taylor, 84, of The Parke in Ocean Pines passed away peacefully Monday, December 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada he was the son of the late John Emeric Taylor and Elva Jane Patterson Taylor. He founded Amtek Company of Annapolis, MD in 1979 and served as President until his retirement in 1996. During his retirement he enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, and singing in the choir. He was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Berlin. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther Mae Taylor; three daughters, Laurel Taylor, Valerie Wilson and her husband Dan, and Dawn Baddock and her husband Ron; seven grandchildren, Adam, Alex, Julianne, Taylor, Alec, Brant, and Cayleigh; great-granddaughter, Emily; two brothers-in-laws, Austin Daigle and his wife Frances and Nyles Beharriell and his wife Christine; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Mattie. He was preceded in death by brother, Donald Taylor and sister, Grace Taylor.
