Kimberly Marie MacLeod, 64, of Hebron passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026. Born October 5, 1961, in Orange City, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Gerald James and Carol Frances Noel Potts.
Kim graduated from Hempstead High School in 1980 and overtime and with much effort she obtained her BSN. After moving to Catonsville, she furthered her education in Mortuary Science and became a Mortician working in Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore retiring in 2024. She was a past member of the Maryland State and Delmarva Funeral Directors Association. While living in Hebron, along with her husband Keith, they enjoyed hosting many of their friends every year at their annual Labor Day party where together they would sing Karaoke and she would play the cow bell. She was an animal lover, especially her Golden Retrievers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Keith MacLeod; three daughters, Candiice Latvanas (Jay), Ashlii Fritz (Kevin), Taiilor McGee ( Taylor); grandchildren, Peyton, Paxton, and Skyler; step-children, Kristin Johnson, Kara Espinoza (Juan), Kylee Boffen, and Kevin MacLeod ; step-grandchildren, Karoline, Jordan, Bjorn, Lars, and Emma; brothers, Mike Potts, Gary Potts (Chris), Bobby Potts, Tony Potts (Tracy), and TJ Potts (Jenni) brother-in-law, Tim Timmerman; sister, Kathy Herrig (Tom); several nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Dottie MacLeod, sister-in-law, Bonnie Bahr (Allan) her faithful companion, her golden retriever, Franky, and many wonderful friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Niicole McGee, sisters, Michele Potts, and Mary Timmerman.
If Kim could leave each of us with one final thought she would say,
“LOVE YOU LONG TIME”
Kim and Keith enjoyed going to Millie’s Road House Bar and Grill in Vienna on Friday nights where they would see friends and listen to music. Please come out to Millie’s on Saturday, May 30 from 5:00 pm- until to share your favorite memory of Kim with good friends in a place she enjoyed so much and maybe even sing a song or two. Per Kim’s wishes she will be privately inurned with her daughter Niicole in New Jersey at a later date.
