Born in Washington, D.C, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn O’Steen Latimer. Linda graduated from Bladensburg High School, Bladensburg, MD. Over the years, she worked as a travel agent for AAA, a secretary to the manager of the Salisbury-Wicomico Airport, and lastly, as a reconciliation clerk for Perdue Farms in Salisbury, MD until her retirement.
Linda moved to Marlton, NJ in December 2022 to be closer to her daughter and family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved unconditionally, and always put others before herself.
In addition to spending time with family, Linda enjoyed her years traveling with her husband Jack, and together they also enjoyed the relaxing days spent at their beach cottage during the summer months. Linda and Jack were married for 41 years, until his death in 2010.
She loved shopping, trying her luck at the slot machines, watching Ravens football, and having a good meal with family or friends. Linda will be remembered for her love of her canine companions, particularly her current dog, Harley.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Moreno, and husband Richard, of Delran, NJ; her son Craig Everett, and wife Diana, of St. Augustine, FL; her son Curtis Everett, of Lancaster, CA, and his former wife Deanna of Palmdale, CA; five grandchildren, Melanie Baraby, Darren Moreno, Heather Brecko, Keegan Everett and Bradley Everett; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Baraby, Sophia Brecko, Jack Brecko, and Owen Everett.
Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Latimer Jr., and her nephew, Thomas Latimer III. She leaves behind her sister-in-law, Pamela Latimer, of Mansfield, OH; nephew, Jonathan Latimer (Carrie); great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial tribute to Linda will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2 pm, at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street, Salisbury, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
