Mark Douglas McConnell

Salisbury: Mark D. McConnell, 59, of Salisbury and formerly of Cabin John, MD passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 26, 2015. Born September 17, 1956 in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of Sarah Davis Titus and the late Harry L. McConnell. Mark was an honored Veteran whom served from 1974 to 1978 in the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, 190th Mt. Co. After returning from military service, he worked as a Sheet Metal Mechanic. He loved motorcycles and fast cars. Mark loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mark is survived by his mother, Sarah Davis Titus of Salisbury, MD; sister, Mary F. Prather of Parsonsburg, MD; daughter, Randi McConnell of Harwood, MD; three grandchildren. Mark leaves many devoted aunts, cousins, family, and friends to grieve him. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 10-11AM at Bounds Funeral Home, 705 East Main Street, Salisbury, MD 21804. Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 E New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock, MD 21643. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Marks honor to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
