Mary J. Potts, 87, of Princess Anne passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Aurora Senior Living. Born in Camden-On-Gauley, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Hanson and Madeline Pete. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Richards Potts, Jr. and Terry Lee Potts and his wife Linda; grandchildren, Jennifer Potts Miller and her husband Matthew, Richard J. Potts, III and his wife Nicole, and Jessica Potts; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Contessa Rivera, Owen Smith, and Sarah and Neal Potts; the last of her siblings, sister, Margaret Lentz; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Potts in 2008. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
