Ruth Mary Travis, 86, of Salisbury passed away on June 21, 2015. Born June 17, 1929 in Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Ronake and Albert J. Harrison. She is survived by two children, six grandchildren, and various other family. She was a long time member of Salisbury Baptist Temple. In her younger years she was active in the community. She was involved with the Cub Scouts, DAV, VFW, and the American Legion. She loved being outdoors, making crafts, and dancing. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6-8pm at Bounds Funeral Home, 705 East Main Street, Salisbury, MD 21804. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery - Eastern Shore in Hurlock, Maryland.
