Steven G. Short

Steve graduated from Mardela High School in 1992 and went on to have a lengthy career as a truck driver. A loving family man, he enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Steve was known for his jokes and sarcasm.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Tanya; children, April Short and her wife Bethany, Ambur Hopkins and her husband Josh, Alyssa Short, Seth Boyce, and Chris Spinella; granddaughter, Rayna Hopkins; brothers, Clarence Edward Short, III and his wife Donna and Robert Short and his wife Lisa; sister, Debbie Faucette; several nieces, a nephew, and many cousins. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Carl Short and niece Brandi Faucette.

A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held Sunday at 12PM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor Marc Hannah will officiate.
