Alejandra “Alex” Ledesma. Alex went to be with our Lord on Sunday, 1/8/2023, she was 92. She was born in San Antonio on July 14, 1930, graduated from Brackenridge High School “Go Eagles,” then went on to secure her Beautician’s operating license and worked up until her retirement in the late 1990’s. She was a caring Matriarch to many of her family—always loving, giving and forgiving, seeing the best in everyone she knew and met. She was a life-long member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Indiana St., and inspired so many of us family members to pursue God, never forgetting that He is the center of our lives, and made sure many of us received our Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. She will long be remembered for being that happy-go-lucky hairdresser at McCreless Mall back in the day. She will be missed dearly and may God grant her peace eternal. She is preceded in death by her parents: Aguedo and Luisa Ledesma, brother: Raul Ledesma, sisters: Mary Ledesma, Mary Lou Park, Josefina Ledesma,Teresa Brossoit, Mary Montoya and survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
