Alexander Connor Ryerson

Alexander Connor Ryerson of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 33. Born on October 24, 1991, Alexander was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend whose kind soul and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him.

Alexander is survived by his loving wife, Iris Funez; his cherished stepson, Edgar; his devoted parents, Neal Ryerson and Cheryl; and his brothers, Craig Ryerson and Glen Ryerson. He will be remembered not only for the love he gave to his family but for the warmth and compassion he extended to friends, coworkers, and. all those fortunate enough to cross his path.

He had many passions that brought him joy—cooking, hiking in the parks, animals, gaming, reading, boxing, and spending time with family. He especially enjoyed learning Spanish and reading and communicating in the language he was growing to love. More than anything, Alexander loved his family. He strived every day to be a good husband to Iris and a devoted father to Edgar. He was also a loving son and brother whose presence brought comfort and laughter to those closest to him. He had Jesus in his heart and sought for a relationship with Him, he knew his need for the savior and had rededicated his life to Him.

Alexander loved to laugh and enjoy life. His life was a testament to kindness, empathy, and connection. He leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and quiet strength that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A visitation for Alexander will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, followed by a prayer service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Alexander Connor Ryerson, de San Antonio, Texas, falleció el 29 de abril de 2025 a la edad de 33 años. Nacido el 24 de octubre de 1991, Alexander fue un amado esposo, hijo, hermano y amigo, cuya bondadosa alma y generoso espíritu conmovieron a todos los que lo conocieron.

Alexander es recordado por su amada esposa, Iris Funez; su querido hijastro, Edgar; sus dedicados padres, Neal Ryerson y Cheryl; así como por sus hermanos, Craig Ryerson y Glen Ryerson. Disfrutaba especialmente de aprender español, leer y comunicarse en el idioma que estaba aprendiendo a amar. Más que nada, Alexander amaba a su familia. Se esforzaba cada día por ser un buen esposo para Iris y un padre devoto para Edgar. También era un hijo y hermano cariñoso cuya presencia traía consuelo y alegría a sus seres queridos. Tenía a Jesús en su corazón y buscaba una relación con Él; conocía su necesidad del Salvador y le había dedicado su vida.

Al señor Alexander le encantaba sonreír y disfrutar de la vida. Su vida fue un testimonio de bondad, empatía y conexión. Deja un legado de amor, cariño y una fortaleza serena que seguirá inspirando a todos los que lo conocieron.

Se llevará a cabo una velación para Alexander el viernes 16 de mayo de 2025 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, seguida de un servicio de oración de 6:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.
