Alfred Rojas

Alfred Rojas, age 74, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Alfred was born in San Antonio, Texas to Dominga and Alfred Rojas Sr. Alfred joined the United States Army at the age of 20 and served his country for 10 years, where after he went on the join the Bexar County Sheriff's Office for 30 more years before retiring. He loved his job, second only to his family, and by the time he retired, Alfred has so much leave and sick time accumulated because he never wanted to miss a day of work.

Alfred was an amazing, loving husband and father. He loved spending time with his family as well as watching his favorite old western, Gunsmoke. He enjoyed his barbeque and spent some of his free time deer and dove hunting. Alfred was a football player in high school and that carried on into his adult years where he cheered on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

A visitation for Alfred will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78251. Burial will follow at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78228.
