Arthur Elisio Ayala Jr.

Arthur was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Marta Ayala; his children, Pita Perez and Yvonne; his daughter-in-law, Cindy Perez; his grandchildren, Barbi, Jaymee, Marianna, Anthony, Jesse, and Kirri; and his great-grandchildren, Evalyn, Sophia, Nathan, Michael, and Silas. He is also survived by his cousins, Yolanda, Manuel, and Kate.

Arthur found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved BBQing with his family, spending time with his wife, taking trips, and visiting his grandchildren in Florida. A loyal sports fan, he proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.

Above all else, what gave Arthur the greatest satisfaction was being with his family. His love, presence, and dedication to those he cared about will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on January 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, located at 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205.

A Rosary service is scheduled at the same venue on January 13, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will take place on January 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Dr, San Antonio, TX 78228.

The Graveside Service will follow on January 14, 2026, from 11:30 am to 11:50 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
