Concepcion C. Gutierrez

Concepcion C. Gutierrez, beloved mother and grandmother, entered into rest on November 3, 2011 at the age of 80. She was born on December 8, 1930 to parents Pedro and Cipriana Castro in Encinal, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Concepcion was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of over 50 years, Cristobal and her sister Fina Gamez. She is survived by her daughter, Evangelina DeLeon and husband Robert; sons, Jesse Gutierrez and wife Margaret, Cristobal Gutierrez, Jr., Gilbert Gutierrez, and David Gutierrez; sisters, Maria Elena Flores and husband Carlos, Dora Chavez and husband Tony and San Juanita Wilson and husband Martin; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue the following morning at 8:00 a.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. for interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
