Consuelo U. Aguilar

Consuelo will be remembered by all as servant of God and her family. She is the center of her family, her home always open as a gathering place filled with generations of her closest family and friends enjoying food, laughter and stories together. She spent many years cooking and baking. She was an avid reader, reading the newspaper almost everyday, from front to back. Consuelo was a woman of faith, attending mass regularly and praying for all who crossed her path. She is affectionately known by her grandchildren as Grandma and her many great grandchildren as Lita or Grandma GG.

Consuelo is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Juan Aguilar; her parents, Benita and Salvador Uranga; her 4 brothers, Ernest, Ruben, Joe, and Louie; and her son, Richard. She is survived by her children, Rudy (Oralia), Alicia, and Freddy (†Teresa); her daughter in law, Sara; her 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation for Consuelo will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 Chihuahua St, San Antonio, Texas 78207. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
