Dad,   
I’m still trying to wrap my head around you not being in the room next to ours.   You left a hollow in our hearts but filled our lives with warm memories.  Memories of amazing dinners together, camping, and silly everyday shenanigans.  Im going to miss how you were such a bossy little old man & how you would make me laugh when you would say ok, ok, ok just to appease me.  I will miss bringing you your dinner after work & you shushing our dog or saying dog, dog, dog when you wanted him out of your room.  Believe it or not I’m going to miss you calling me fat (lol) or saying that I talk too much! I’ll miss you telling me that you were happy in our home or that you were glad we came to visit.  I’ll miss seeing you tell Jeff that I’m a good woman but most of all I’m going to miss your silly smile and joy you brought to us.  Thank you for sharing in our home & family.  Most of all I want to thank you for the amazing son you raised.  Jeff is a remarkable man, a wonderful husband, and an amazing father for all the qualities you instilled in him.  Now my daughters & I will be eternally thankful for knowing you & becoming part of your legacy of love, honor, & respect that will live on through Jeff & I.  We love you Dad and are better people for having you in our lives.   See you on the flip side.

We will miss you deeply.  Although we only knew you a short time, we have nice memories of you. We enjoyed having you in our home on several occasions. We thought it was so funny that you signed that we talked to much. Oh how that made us laugh.  We think of the last visit during Thanksgiving, you enjoyed your meal and asked for seconds and thirds ha ha. The best part was how comfortable you were laying down on our couch and secretly asking for a beer. You were a character and will be missed. We love you!

Grandpa, 

Our time was shorter than I wished it was, but I wouldn't change one second of it. I remember how exited I was for you to come live with us because you're such an interesting man, and I knew it was going to be so much fun. I loved how I would dance, make food for you, and always slip you an extra cookie when nobody was looking. I loved how you would call me a good girl when I cleaned you up or gave you some juice. I can sit here telling all the little things we did together, but that would take all day and I know like me, your attention span is short. I miss you so much, but I know you're no longer hurting. I love you  🤟🏼

I remebered Cornelio long time ago he fixed everything! I missed him, he loves to talk about San Antonio Spurs. Also he loves his children a lot as he talks about his children many times he played baseball for the deaf.  I loved to talk with him, he brightens the people and lifted spirits with deaf people.  May he flew into heaven and God is with his familia.  Miss you lot.

I can't tell you now much I already miss you. You were the one to teach me my first sign language phrase, " More Money". Little did you know I would be using it on you. I would stomp my little foot on the floor to get your attention and move my hands around like I was actually saying things to you, but you would nod your head like you knew exactly what I was talking about.  I'm going to miss you calling me baby, and fighting with you when you would call me fat, then you would just say I was crazy when I would tell on you:)  You don't know how thankful I am that you got to see me get married.  I don't know how we are going to live without you, but I know you will always be watching over us.

Ill never forget how much you smiled. The time you taught me Matthew and Nathan how to ride a bike, or when you'd show us how to make money from stripping wire and crushing cans, letting us burn all the old wood in giant piles and giving us full use of the shop to create and build whatever we wanted. You showed us how to find the most joy from the simplest things. I'll never forget the times we had on the ranch. And every time I eat some ice cream I'll be thinking of eating it with you on the porch while you tell me storys about your days playing football. This isnt goodbye, because I know you're always with us. See you on the other side...

I loved every moment I got to share with you Uncle.  My very favorite thing was your smile and when you called out my name, "ChaCha"! I can still hear you say it! I will miss you dearly, I love you!

I remember when I was 9 and you bought me tickets to see the Spurs right behind the backboard for $17 in the old Hemisphere arena.  My biggest thrill was talking to the Ice Man, shaking his hand and interpreting between ya.  I didn’t know who was more exited you or me 😂.  The times we sat in the court yard of Brookdale and I groomed your beard so you could  impress the women at the home.
