Frances M. Garcia

Frances Macias Garcia, age 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 27, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Lucio Garcia, Sr., and parents Jose Maria Macias and Margarita Esparza Macias. She is survived by her children: Vicente (Rita), Lucio Jr. (Rita), Linda; sister, Esther, grandchildren: Sarah, Lorraine, Natalie, Marisela, Bianca, Izel, Joseph, Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Joshua, Kayla, Derek, and 10 others; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was a devout Catholic and active parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Her beautiful smile and her joyful spirit touched many lives. She will forever be loved and missed. The family will receive guests at Roy Akers funeral home on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 9:15a.m. to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2623 Perez Street.
