Guillermo A. Yglesias, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the age of 73. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Gustavo and Cruz Yglesias, on February 13, 1939. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Guillermo was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Celia Yglesias; children, Guillermo Yglesias III (Isabel), Nicholas Yglesias (Naomi), John Charles Yglesias, and Rebecca Torres (David); grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Yglesias, Ariana and Micahel Yglesias, and Sarah and David Torres; brothers, David and Robert Yglesias; sister, Maria Medellin. The family will recive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following morning at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 617 South Santa Rosa Blvd. (78204).
