

Guillermo Molina Jr., a hard-working, devoted, beloved, and creative individual, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on September 4, 1943, in Laredo, Texas, Guillermo was the cherished son of Juanita C. and Guillermo M. Molina Sr. He graduated from Burbank High School, setting the foundation for a life marked by dedication and service.
In 1967, Guillermo was drafted into the United States Army to serve in the Vietnam War. Due to medical reasons, he honorably retired from the Army in 1969 with the rank of E5. His courageous service was recognized with several honors, including the Purple Heart, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Marksman Badge (Rifle-M14).
Guillermo was married for 55 years to his loving wife, Adelina S. Molina. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Alfredo Molina and Idalia Molina. He is survived by his wife, Adelina, and their four children: Monica Molina, Leticia Ruiz (Steven), Guillermo Molina III (Cassie), and Javier Molina (Kristi). Guillermo's legacy continues through his 12 grandchildren: Anthony Price (Dani), Rudy Campos (Cassandra), Tyrease Price, Steven Ruiz (Leslie), Genesis Ruiz (Oscar), Faith Ruiz, Marco Molina, Travis Reans, Aleena De La Rosa, Sebastian Molina, Xavier Molina, and Laurie Smasal; as well as his four great-grandchildren: Penelope Gonzalez, Camila Ruiz, Rylie Campos, and Olivia Luna Gonzalez.
A resident of San Antonio, Texas, Guillermo was an avid artist with a passion for painting, photography, and working with stained glass. He also enjoyed carpentry, hunting, and gardening, pursuits that reflected his creative spirit and love for the outdoors.
Guillermo Molina Jr. will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his distinguished military service, and his artistic talents. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
