

Joe F. Treviño was a family man that loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the epitome of debonair; well dressed and always with a smile. He served in the U.S. Army 8th Infantry Division, as a Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy, and as the Sales Manager for Big Red Bottling in San Antonio. He went to be with the Lord on October 1st, 2025. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Thomas Treviño, Sr., and Maria Flores Treviño; Brothers, Thomas Treviño, Jr., Jesse Treviño, Sr.; Sisters, Jesusita Gonzales, Olga Sanchez, Hortencia Fitzgerald, and Oralia Solis. He is survived by Wife of 70 years, Edelmira Treviño. Son: Joe Treviño, Jr (Irene), Granddaughters: Denise Villarreal (Louis), Deidra Weant (Jared), Lesley Treviño De Hoyos) (Guillermo). Great Grandchildren: Nicholas Villarreal, Miranda Aguilar (Elliot), Jake Mireles, Josh Mireles, Gavin Ramos, Jaxon Mireles, Liam De Hoyos. Great Great Granddaughter: Eliana Aguilar. Son: Daniel Treviño (Cathy) Grandchildren: Michele Espinoza (Rico), Daniel Treviño Jr., Clarissa Treviño. Great Grandchildren: Marisa Rodriguez (Zachary), Jay Rodriguez, Miley Rodriguez. Great Great Grandson: Noah Gonzalez. Son: Edward Treviño (Alma), Grandsons: Edward Treviño (Norma) Christian Treviño (Annabeth). Great Granddaughter: Victoria Treviño. Brother William Treviño (Pauline) and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Treviño family will receive friends at 6 PM on Wednesday, October 8th, at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave, with a Rosary to follow at 7 PM. The funeral mass will be 10 AM Thursday, October 9th, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 Chihuahua St., followed by the burial at 11:30 AM, at San Fernando #2, 746 Castroville Rd.
