Jonathan Dwayne Barton

Jonathan cherished time spent hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening, activities that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature. His love for cooking was matched only by his love for his sons, Jon- Robert and his stepsons, Cash and Joey, with whom he shared countless memorable adventures.

He is survived by his parents, Judy Barron and Ronald Barton; his siblings, Nicole Bailey and Ashley Hodge; his loving sons; and his cherished grandparents, William Barron and Jan Jonas, along with his paternal grandmother, Virginia Brabenec. Jonathan is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Barron, and paternal grandfather, John Robert Barton.

Jonathan’s warmth and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.

A visitation for Jonathan will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A chapel service will occur Friday, November 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A graveside service will occur Friday, November 1, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.
