Mamie Mancillas

Mamie Mancillas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, entered rest on February 2, 2013 at the age of 83. Mamie was born March 25, 1929 in Gonzales, Texas to the late Manuel and Victoriana Reyes. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Yolanda Mancillas. She is survived by husband: Raul Mancillas; children: Juanita M. Benitez, Irma M. Sanchez, Gerardo Mancillas and wife, Nancy; grandchildren: Mamie Michelle Garrett and husband Franklin, Erika Ann Sanchez and Victor Guerra, Robert Jason Sanchez, Elaine M. Lopez and husband Richard, Raul Anthony Mancillas; 16 great-grandchildren; brother: Martin Reyes; sisters; Alicia Orozco and Josefina Montez. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 for a 12:00 Noon Mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gerardo Mancillas, Raul Anthony Mancillas, Robert Jason Sanchez, Richard J. Lopez, Franklin Garrett II, Alfred Rocha.
