Maria Davila

Maria Davila entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2016 at the age of 68. Born and raised in San Antonio,TX, to Benito and Teodora on January 10,1948; she is now reunited with her parents. She is survived by her husband, Roger Davila; her children, Roger Davila Jr. and Irene Davila(Oscar); grandchildren: Robert Soto III, Roger Davila III, Amber Davila, Stephanie Davila, Marissa Hernandez; great-grandchild, Robert Soto IV; siblings: Adela, Rosa, Gloria, Janie, Dolores, Johnny, David, Richard, Benny, and Frank. Maria lived her life by strong faith and over flow of generosity to those in need. She was a faithful employee to Leonard's furniture until they closed, after which she began to work for Stower's furniture, where she was employed for 15 years. Maria was a "Spurs fanatic", devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother. The family will be receiving guest at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Avenue, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 5:00p.m. with a 7:00p.m. Rosary. A procession will depart from Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00a.m. to celebrate a 11:30a.m. Mass at St.Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower. Interment will follow in San Fernando II Cemetery.
