When I ran across Mary in the hallways of Collins Garden, she always had a beautiful smile and a wonderful peace about her.  Whether in the classroom or walking a student somewhere, she blessed her students with love, respect, and patience.  Lorenzo, I treasure the times your wife, Mary DeAnda, and I prayed together and even talked about starting a prayer group at school.  I'm so glad I came by the hospital to pray the Chaplet of Devine Mercy for Mary.  Praise God! May our loving Lord bless you and your family during this time of grief.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all...and may perpetual light shine upon you, Mary.

Mrs. Rodgriguez always had a smile and an open heart for everyone she met. She was welcoming to all and handed you a plate the minute you walked in! Most of all I remember all the Love she had for her kids and grandkids and how proud she was of her husband and his military service. Rest in Peace ma'm, tonight there is another beautiful Angel looking over the Rodriguez family. May GOD provide the family with comfort in the many memories they have of her and her good heartedness!

Although Eddie and I are divorced, I have many happy and funny memories of her.  My heart is very sad and my eyes have cried many, many tears, but I smile and feel grateful knowing my daughter, Alyssa, has gained a new guardian angel.  To the family, please know that I am praying very hard for all of you to find courage and comfort during this time of sorrow.  I loved her dearly....I will always remember and hear her telling me, "God be with you mija.  God be with you."  My condolences and well wishes...Jenny

Although it saddens me that you are no longer physically present on this earth, I am comforted knowing your spirit will always be with us watching over us. Whenever a flower opens for the first time in spring, or the fresh springtime breeze hits my check I will be reminded of you. I may not have ever shared this with you, but spring reminds me of you.  Whenever spring rolls around and the wildflowers start to bloom I am reminded of my trips out to see you for Easter. As a matter of fact, Stan and I took one of our first photos as a married couple on your land in a patch of bluebonnets.  We will love you always, and in God's time we will meet again until then here is a “Love you and see you later”.

Since 1990 at Will Rogers Elementary, I was blessed by a wonderful lady, my better half. Lorenzo, family, and friends. Thank you for making me fill like a part of your beautiful family, keeping me strong, and allowing me to share all my loving memories of an Earth Angel. Even though we can't be on Earth with Maria, we can fill her in our hearts and remember all the fun and loving memories. I know what she would tell me when I am crying, Maria would lovingly say, "Lady, let it go", Let it go". She waited for me to leave San Antonio to pass away. That's when I knew, I had to let her go. May my dear sweet friend rest in peace with Our Lord and all of the Saints and Angels.

Warmth fills my heart when I think of my lady, Maria. We had 8 years together in the classroom where she kept me strong, loving, and focused. Lorenzo, you have a wonderful and loving family. Thank you all for sharing with me at the hospital and allowing me to share all of my memories of dear sweet Maria. I fill I am missing my better half, but in my heart, I know she is in Heaven with Our Lord and all of the angels. Yes, she was one special Earth Angel and we all were blessed by her loving heart. We all will miss her dearly! Rest in Peace my dear friend!
