Mary Ann DeRuiter, 85, went to be with her Lord on November 29, 2017. She was born October 6, 1932 in Port Author, Texas to Aseph and Bertha George. Mary Ann resided in San Antonio most of her life and was an active member of her church, she was a devoted wife and mother, sister, and friend. She loved to laugh and tell jokes, enjoyed bowling, Bunco and Yahtzee. She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; her loving husband: Jack G. DeRuiter. She is survived by her children: Mark DeRuiter (wife, Diane) Denise DeRuiter-Triplitt (Husband, Larry) Four Grandchildren: Lawrence Rozacky; Erin Rozacky-Whaley (husband Phil); Amanda DeRuiter (fiancée Steven Leh); Travis DeRuiter; Two sisters: Loretta and Norma Lee; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2017 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church 3200 TX-1604 Loop, at 10:00 a.m., with Funeral Services starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
