Ramon, 87, went to be with the Lord last Friday morning after a long cherished life. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, he worked in a clothing factory as a supervisor and cutter. Ramon was a strong man who had a personality like no other he was loving, happy, funny, and a huge family man. He simply had a heart of gold and for whoever knew him on a personal level, would say the same. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Sanchez, Son Jeffery Sanchez, Daughter Sonja Sanchez, and Grandson David Sanchez. He is survived by his brothers Arturo Sanchez and Fernando Sanchez, children Raymond Sanchez, Jerry Sanchez, and Patricia Coultress, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205 on April 21, 2016 beginning at 5pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm. There will be a chapel service at 10am on April 22, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
