Rudy Guerrero

Rodolfo (Rudy) Guerrero, 76, of San Antonio TX passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2017 surrounded by family. Rudy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend. Rudy loved the Lord and was a faithful steward to the end. Rudy was proud of all his family and is survived by: three sons, two daughters, 9 grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. Rudy was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Julia who was by his side until his last breath. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on June 30th.Rudy was a master furniture refinisher. His work is displayed at the St. Anthony’s hotel. The antique grand piano is displayed as you enter the hotel. Rudy also refinished cellos and pianos for famous artists. We’ll miss him but know that his love for family and Christ will live on.Visitation will begin 6:00 pm Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main with a 7:00pm evening service. A Chapel service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in San Fernando No.2.
