Sarah C. Gonzales

Sarah C. Gonzales; beloved mother, grandmother, and sister; entered eternal rest on December 30, 2014 at the age of 96. A native of San Antonio, Texas, she was born to Luis and Isabel Carvajal on January 31, 1918; and now reunites with her parents; husband of over 39 years, Ross Gonzales; granddaughter, Yvette Todd; siblings: Gladys Maya, Dora Ramos, and Frank Carvajal; and son-in-law; Hector Guerra. She is survived by her children, Sarah Guerra, Daniel Gonzales (Lucia); 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great- great- grandchild; siblings, Estelle Canamar, Alfred Carvajal; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Sarah will be remembered by her passion and amazing skill of cake decorating for over 40 years. She also enjoyed playing bingo or taking occasional trips to Kickapoo. The family will be receiving guests at St. Phillip of Jesus, 131 Bank, on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will continue at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at St. Phillip of Jesus.
