

Dora was a seamstress. She was family-oriented and loved her children and grandchildren deeply. Dora moved to Indiantown, Florida, where she then met her husband. When they got married, she moved to San Benito, Texas, which was home for 60 years.
Dora is preceded in death by her father, Roberto Vasquez; her mother, Bertha Vasquez; sisters Rosa Garcia, Linda Campos, Martha Izaguirre and brothers Johnny Vasquez, Jose Vasquez, and Tony Vasquez.
Dora is survived by her spouse of 60 years, Jose Roberto Becerra. She she is also survived by her children Maricela Cervantes (Pedro Cervantes) and Jose Becerra (Norma Becerra). Dora is survived by her grandchildren, Marisol Cervantes (Rodin Amaya), Aldrich Becerra, Christopher Cervantes, Presley Becerra and Jose Roberto Becerra III. Dora is survived by her brother Roberto Vasquez (Rebecca Vasquez) as well as extended family including numerous nieces and nephews.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be, Christopher Cervantes, Aldrich Becerra, Rodolfo Becerra, Jose Roberto Becerra III, Jose Rivera, Joe Villareal, Wally Garcia, Rodin Amaya.
Honored to serve as honorary pallbearers will be Presley Becerra and Pedro Cervantes.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 Am, at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at St Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586, with a Burial to follow at 2:00 PM, at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Dora was a kind, loving, caring and beautiful person. She will be forever missed, but will never be forgotten and forever in the hearts of those she loved.
