Hermelinda G Leal

Hermelinda G. Leal, a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, August 15,2025 surrounded by loved ones. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her joyful spirit, and the way she always put others above herself.

Linda had a special love for music, especially the songs of Little Joe and the rhythms of Tejano music that would get her up on the dance floor. She found joy in dancing, in laughter, and in the company of family and friends. Always friendly and welcoming, she had a way of making everyone feel at home, and her generosity touched countless lives.

Her legacy will live on in the love she shared, the friendships she nurtured, and the memories of her dancing with a smile on her face. Hermelinda will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Abram Leal; her son, Homer Leal; her siblingings, Alberto Garcia, Joe Garcia, Angie Barajas, and Maria Lupe Davila.

A Visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 1015 E Van Buren Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550, with a Burial to follow at 11:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
