Born on July 2, 1944, in San Benito, Texas, Juan lived a life grounded in honor, humility, and quiet strength. As a young man, he answered the call to serve his country in the United States Army, carrying forward values of discipline and courage that remained with him throughout his life.
Juan married his devoted wife, Isabel Longoria, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and music — whether dancing to country and Tejano songs or celebrating family milestones.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel Longoria; his children, Sylvia Longoria with her children Javier Salinas and Yvonne Salinas; Rolando Longoria and his wife Jessica, with their children Aliya, Livia, and Rye; and Juan Longoria, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, with their children Aria and Ezra. He is also survived by his brothers Robert Longoria, Jose Luis Longoria, and Baldemar Longoria, and by his sister Delia Morado.
Juan was a quiet man, but those who knew him best cherished his heart of gold and unique sense of humor. He loved cheering on his Dallas Cowboys and found joy in the simple pleasures of life—family gatherings, music, and moments spent with those he loved. His life was a quiet example of honor, kindness, and devotion to those he loved.
Above all, Juan will be remembered as a man of honor: a faithful husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a veteran whose life reflected the values he held most dear.
