Norma A Lopez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Norma A. Lopez, who left us on March 26th, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 6th, 1952, in San Benito, Norma lived a life full of love and service.

Norma is survived by her children, Leo (Noelia) and Nita Barrera; her cherished granddaughter, Melanie; her siblings, Hilda (Ramon) and Pablo Lopez (Juanita); and her uncle, Arturo “Tudy” Alvarado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Alvarado and Pablo Lopez, and her sister, Yolanda L. Roa.

A beloved grandmother, mother, sister, aunt and friend, Norma was known for her exceptional baking skills and her dedication to volunteering at her church and local schools.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM.

A Funeral Church Mass will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 3:30 PM, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586, with a Burial to follow at 4:30 PM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support received during this difficult time.
