Soledad C Gonzalez

On January 3, 1954, she married F. Jose Gonzalez at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Together they shared 67 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to family. They raised five children and created a home defined by hard work, humility, and grace.

Soledad lived a life of service to her family and embodied unwavering faith, kindness, and compassion. She was a caring and gentle soul who found joy in laughter and in caring for others. Her example of love, patience, and selflessness will forever guide those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Gonzalez, and her eldest daughter, Alicia.

Soledad is survived by her daughter, Alma; her sons, Joe, Fred, and Rick; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and carry her legacy forward.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, located at 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas, 78586, on February 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will take place at the same venue on February 8, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass is scheduled for February 9, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Helens Catholic Church, 228 Huisache Ave, Rio Hondo, TX, 78583.

Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas, 78586, on February 9, 2026, at 11:00 am.
