

She is the oldest daughter of Yewande O. Thompson Sode and the late David O. Sode. She is survived by her mother, younger siblings — Titilola Sode, Daniel Sode, and Alexis Sode — and a plethora of extended family.
Throughout her life, Atinuke climbed the academic ladder. A graduate of Hialeah Senior High School, she earned her bachelor's degree from Barry University and later earned a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She was also a Certified Privacy Manager, accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Most recently, Atinuke was pursuing an additional degree at Northwestern University, focusing on public health issues and a cause close to her heart- maternal mortality among African American women.
Atinuke relocated to Atlanta, GA, and purchased her first home in 2022. Most recently, Atinuke served as Assistant Vice President, Business Analyst III at Truist Financial, where she was widely lauded for her warmth, diligence, and work ethic.
Outside of her professional achievements, Atinuke had a passion for African, and African American, literature. She was also a true fashion, cooking, decor, and art connoisseur. A former track star and basketball athlete, she enjoyed exercise and embodying discipline and vitality in all aspects of her life.
Atinuke’s legacy is one of brilliance, elegance, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Her contributions to her family, friends, and community will not be forgotten. She leaves behind a family who adored her and countless friends and colleagues who were touched by her light.
