Chad Taylor Storey

Chad Taylor Storey, 25, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died February 25, 2011 Born in Atlanta, GA, Chad grew up in Sandy Springs and graduated from Riverwood High School in 2003. At the time of his death, Chad was a student at Arizona State University studying Computer Science. Chad is survived by his mother, Deborah L. (Gohr) Storey of Dallas, TX; his father, John C. Storey and stepmother Catherine G. Storey of Chicago, IL; and his grandmother Margaret E. Storey of Carrollton, GA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William D. and Dorothy L. Gohr and his paternal grandfather Harry B. Storey.Chad was a generous, giving person who never met a stranger and would always lend a hand to those in need. He loved the outdoors, travel, and adventure. Chad had a profound love for his family. His many young cousins will miss their “Chad-O’s” playful spirit and countless hours of chasing him around the house and yard. A memorial service to honor Chad will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 on Sunday, March 6, 2011 beginning promptly at 3pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a gathering following the service.
